3 Reddit accounts brands should have

Came across a short talk by Ross Simmonds on how brands should show up on Reddit, and I liked it. He recommends three types of accounts brands should have:

1. Brand subredditr/yourbrand

Create this last week if you haven't already. If someone else claims it and owns it, you lose complete control. And if the subreddit already exists, slide into the mod's DMs and ask if they'd be okay with you becoming a co-mod.

2. Brand user accountu/yourbrand

This is the official brand voice. Use it only when people are saying nice things. Don't get into fights with this account.

3. Personified human account

A real person representing the brand in the subreddits where your community already exists. This one shows up when people are complaining, have problems, or are asking questions adjacent to what you sell.

Simple setup, but makes a lot of sense.
